Get a Sparkling Clean Vanilla scented kitchen!

How to get a Sparkling Clean Kitchen and scent your whole home with vanilla in the process!

This is my Kitchen deep cleaning routine.

What you'll need

Baking soda

Vinegar

Dawn dish liquid

Hydrogen Peroxide

Windex(The Clear Vinegar version)

Vanilla Extract 

A Magic Eraser

Rags
A toothbrush
A scotchbrite green sponge

Step 1 Scent your home.

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.  Put 2 teaspoons of vanilla in a small oven safe dish(Or Ramekin).  Line it with tinfoil first if you want(easier clean up).  Bake for one hour.  This will leave your home scented with Vanilla and like you've been baking cupcakes all day! ♥

Step 2 Clean Dishes and Pans

Clean and put away all dishes. (Empty dishwasher)

 Soak your frequently used pans in hot soapy water plus 1/4 cup of vinegar.(for 20 - 30 min)

 Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl and add enough peroxide to make a paste. Scrub your pans with this solution(Using a scotch brite sponge) until they are shining like new again!(Almost like New)

Step 3 Clean Appliances

 Clean all appliance faces with your White Vinegar Windex.  Don't forget the bottoms! Shake the crumbs out of your toaster oven. 

Step 4 Clean Microwave

Fill a measuring cup with two cups of water and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Place in microwave and heat for ten minutes.  This will steam clean the inside.  Remove the microwave plate and place in your sink.  Pour the liquid over top and wipe it clean.  Wipe out the inside of the microwave with a rag.

Step 5 Clean your Cook top

Make a cleaner with 1 cup White Vinegar heated in the microwave plus One half cup dawn dish liquid.

 Put in a spray bottle. Sprinkle baking soda on top of your cook top. Spray with your Vinegar solution.  Let sit 15 then scrub it clean.  I use this to clean the inside of my oven also because I am not fond of using the self cleaning feature. Spray Windex on top of the stove and buff clean with a rag until it sparkles. Clean the crevice where your stove meets your counter top by spraying Windex then placing a thin rag over the crack and dragging it through with a butter knife.  Repeat until clean. 

Step 6 Clean Counters

Spray down your counter tops with Windex and wipe clean with a magic eraser.  Wipe down your kitchen trash can and spray with a disinfectant such as Lysol.

Step 7 Clean your Sink   

Spray Vinegar all over your sink. Sprinkle the area with baking soda .  Boil water in a pot plus a tsp of vanilla extract.  Scrub out the sink and rinse clean with the boiling water. Dry thoroughly with a rag.

Buff clean with a small amount of coconut or olive oil until it shines.

Step 8 Clean your Fridge

Sprinkle with baking soda.  Scrub out the inside of your refrigerator with your vinegar and dawn dish soap mixture.  Rinse and dry thoroughly with a rag.  Clean the outside of the fridge with windex. If your fridge happens to be stainless steel next buff the refrigerator doors with pledge.  It will leave it super shiny!

Step 9 Clean Cabinets

Wipe down your cabinets with a mix of hot soapy water and white vinegar.

Step 10 Clean Floors 

Clean your grout with the peroxide and baking soda combination mentioned above.(Using a toothbrush)

Mop floors with 1 cup of white vinegar, 1 TBS of Dawn dish liquid, 1 Cup of baking soda, Two Gallons of Warm water.  

Lastly run your dishwasher using detergent but while it is empty in order to clean the inside.

Finally your done! Enjoy your Sparkling clean kitchen and pour your self a celebratory drink while your at it because that was hard work! ♥
