Wednesday LOVE!

Wednesday LOVE!
Good message
I think I need this top.
Too bad the model is super tan..but still it's an effort lol.
I am not opposed to self tanner whatsoever(In fact I love it!), but I despise the fact that people bake themselves in tanning beds...

How adorable are these Under the sea inspired macaroons?
Filed away for a future Mermaid party, or we do have a Pirate party approaching (for Luke!)
I wonder if these are difficult to make?

OBSESSED with this dress
Would you believe me if I told you it only cost $40?
So Glamorous, now I just need somewhere to wear it so I have an excuse to get it!

Fab Shoes

I have an appointment to Ombre my hair on Friday! So excited, stay tuned for pics!

Could work as a closet cover it is so pretty.

So Happening!
Will be messy but worth it.

Why is this sold out?!
Has anyone ever purchased from Jewelmint before?

Happy Wednesday!

Friday Favorites- Spring Decor
Fresh Spring decor picks

I am so happy that it is officially Spring! Spring is definitely the happiest time for me.  I just love the energy of the season. I have the boy's 7th and 4th birthdays coming up as well as my own(28th).  I love planning parties especially for my kids! As of right now we have a Pirate themed and a Candy land party theme in mind. Cole is obsessed with playing  Candy land ,but he is a bit on the indecisive side (probably inherited from me).  Which is fitting because our birthdays are only 5 days apart.

Stock up on these pretty and super cheap candles from H&M only $5.95

Castile Rose Bathmat
I purchased this bath mat when we remodeled the upstairs bathroom.
I love it soo much but I don't recommend if you live with boys lol : ) .
It is just too pretty and they are just too messy. I have to clean it constantly!

Polka dot bins. I love the White!
My obsession with Land of Nod will never end!

Gold polka dot decals.  Love these!
If you could not find a place for these gold polka dots in your home, I don't think we could be friends. lol
Would be cute in a closet, or as an accent wall in a playroom or office.

Add a pop of color with a baroque frame. I have the white frame but I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.  I was thinking of framing a small quote.  Send any of your ideas my way!

Pink rose floral arrangement
I love this floral but it is a little costly. I ordered it on a gloomy winter day in a moment of weakness.
It is definitely high quality and well made though.  My son has knocked it out of my living room window onto the hard floor at least twice without it being harmed.(I have since moved it though just in case!) You may be better off checking out what Home Goods or Marshalls has in store to save some cash.

Add some romantic twinkle lights
I plan to add some around a big mirror for dress up purposes for Miss Em one of these days..

I am in love with this wall paper, but I am not very efficient at putting it up.  In fact I'm guilty of wrecking some pretty expensive paper...  I wonder if I could DIY a similar  inspired pattern with a gold paint pen on just one wall.  My to do list is never ending lol.

Gorgeous Ikat pillow

Fleur-De-Lys Tumblers
Starting a slow collection of these. They come in multiple colors.

Happy Spring decorating!

Veggie Quesadillas!

Vegetable quesadillas inspired by Wings to Go

Now that Spring is almost upon us I am attempting to post some lighter recipes. These quesadillas are one of my favorites.  It took a few tries but I finally perfected them.  This is an easy and scrumptious meal.  They can be served alone for lunch, or add a side dish and you've got an easy weeknight dinner.  I like to serve mine with Alexia's Onion rings.  They would be great with a side of fries or potato skins.
Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients
Tumaro's sundried tomato basil wraps(Only 60 calories!)
chopped zucchini
chopped sweet onion
chopped red pepper
I chopped the veggies coarsley You don't want to cut them too small!
Shredded cheddar cheese
Shredded mozzarella
Margarine or some type of oil(olive, coconut, etc)
Herbamare Amazing organic seasoning( Sea salt infused with herbs and veggies)
Olive Oil
Sour cream optional

Instructions

1. Saute your veggies in a pan with olive oil. (Season with  Herbamare)
If you don't have Herbamare just use sea salt and a bit of garlic powder.
I definitely recommend you try it though(Herbamare) It makes the BEST roasted vegetables ever.

2. Place a small pat of margarine or apply a thin layer of oil to one side of your tomato wrap then place(oil side down on a tin foil lined pan.

3 Sprinkle a thin layer of cheddar cheese over the wrap.

4. Add a generous serving of sauteed veggies.

5. Top with a thin layer of mozzarella.

6.Place another wrap over top and a tiny bit of oil or margarine on top.

7 Bake in a 350 degree oven 9- 10 minutes (Keep an eye on them)

8.Flip over cook an additional 2-3 minutes

When they appear to be crisp and the cheese is melted remove from the oven.

Use a pizza cutter to cut into 6-8 pieces and serve with a side of sour cream or fresh salsa.
Note: You may cook your quesadillas in a pan as you would a grilled cheese if you prefer.
I just find baking them easier.(You can make more than one at a time that way.

Enjoy!
