Celestial coaster set

Gorgeous coasters that come in a variety of other colors.  Would be a great way to add some glamour to your bar cart or buffet.

Emma jar
Obsessed with this jar.

The Hannah tassel necklace

I just snagged this little beauty.  It has been out of stock the past few times I've attempted to order it.  I highly recommend this site for jewelry if there is anyone in need of a few new Spring pieces.   I've said it before, but their customer service is the best!

DIY Peony painting

If you'd like some Springy art for your space check out this painting tutorial by Evelyn Henson.
I am in love with her painting style and just recently bought this print from her Bar cart mantra collection. I saw on her instagram she just started offering painting classes which I would be overjoyed to take if I lived in the same area! Her art is just so bright, fun and happy.  There are really great pieces for those looking to start a gallery wall.

My Evelyn Henson print.

DIY Campaign dresser

I've been swooning over the campaign dressers all over pinterest and would really love to DIY my own version to use as a tv stand.  I am planning on fusing two of them together somehow.  The problem is I am extremely indecisive and I'm going to have trouble choosing a color.

Here are the contenders...

Any suggestions are welcome! I would love to hear your opinions.

Ayurvedic beauty and skincare guide

I have been interested in reading this book for a while now.  It has tons of positive reviews and is based around the idea of what you put into your body as well as your thoughts directly affect the condition of your skin.

Vibrance pure healthy hair vitamins

I just started taking this healthy hair supplement, which I am hoping will aid in growing back my locks before Summer. lol I'm missing my long hair! I will post a review soon.

Healthy DIY Starbucks frappuccino...your welcome

There is the option to make this drink dairy free which I love and I am determined to make my own vanilla bean version.  I just recently baked vanilla bean cupcakes and they were out of this world.

Why isn't Spring here yet?

Happy Friday!!

Spring wish list

Obsessed with this dress
Been wanting these for a while
Perfect
Love this
Gorg
I usually get one of these every year
So pretty!

Here are a few pics from Easter.  We had a nice Holiday weekend.  We celebrated a little cousin's birthday as well.  Luke also participated in the egg hunt this year for the first time which was exciting!

Believe it or not she actually wore this flower all day!

Is it me or does Luke kind of resemble a mini Josh Hartnett? haha

Cole and my Dad

Notice the kids are hardly looking in any of the pics.  They were preoccupied with all the egg hunts and candy i guess lol. Hope your holiday was perfect!

DIY Chalkboard Menu tutorial
and some H&M home decor!

This project has been on my to do list for quite a while but I finally completed it!
It really helps to eliminate the stress of having to decide what's for dinner by planning a weekly menu.  It saves money and makes food shopping quicker because I am WAY too indecisive to shop without a list!
That way I can organize all my coupons and plan out my meals by what is on sale as well.

You'll need
Chalkboard paint
painter's tape
a pencil
Gold Spray paint(I used Rustoleum metallic gold)
a small roller
a paintbrush (the size you would use to do the edges on a wall)

I bought a cream colored frame and spray painted it gold.
You could make it easier by purchasing a gold frame.(Or keep it as is)
I always have gold spray paint handy though!

Step 1 Hang your frame then trace the inside of the frame lightly with a pencil.
Remove the frame and use the pencil lines as a guide to lay down your painter's tape.

Step 2 Paint the edges with a brush and use a small roller to paint the rest.
Allow to dry.
I used valspar chalkboard paint

Step 3 Re-hang your frame.

You're done! Congrats now start planning your menu.
Here are some of my fave sites for inspiration.

(lots of kid friendly delicious recipes)

Check out Megan's blog for recipe's and fab dinner menus!
She posts her menu plan weekly on Mondays

Delish recipes with reviews!
I've found tons of recipes on this site.

Leave some of your faves in a comment!

I know right!?

I made this one and intended to use it as a daily to do list, but have been using it for quotes instead.

I made the polka dots with a 1 inch circle punch.

This is like the house motto lol.(with three small children it's the only way to be!)

I recently bought a few candles from H&M and a new pillow cover!
I was really excited to discover that they sell reasonably priced home decor.
I got 3 candles and a cushion cover.

Bedside table

The chair is from Marshalls
The first coffee table book I ever purchased!  Which btw I could use some new ones.
Any recommendations?

I love anything with some sparkle. The pillow is already getting a bit disheveled looking from the kids but it should hold up just fine otherwise.(because they are obsessed with it lol)

That is Luke's new bean bag chair from HSN.
My parents got it for him for his bday. It is the Perfect gift for a kid that needs sensory input. Luke loves it!  It is soo comfy too!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Friday Favorites- Spring Decor
Fresh Spring decor picks

I am so happy that it is officially Spring! Spring is definitely the happiest time for me.  I just love the energy of the season. I have the boy's 7th and 4th birthdays coming up as well as my own(28th).  I love planning parties especially for my kids! As of right now we have a Pirate themed and a Candy land party theme in mind. Cole is obsessed with playing  Candy land ,but he is a bit on the indecisive side (probably inherited from me).  Which is fitting because our birthdays are only 5 days apart.

Stock up on these pretty and super cheap candles from H&M only $5.95

Castile Rose Bathmat
I purchased this bath mat when we remodeled the upstairs bathroom.
I love it soo much but I don't recommend if you live with boys lol : ) .
It is just too pretty and they are just too messy. I have to clean it constantly!

Polka dot bins. I love the White!
My obsession with Land of Nod will never end!

Gold polka dot decals.  Love these!
If you could not find a place for these gold polka dots in your home, I don't think we could be friends. lol
Would be cute in a closet, or as an accent wall in a playroom or office.

Add a pop of color with a baroque frame. I have the white frame but I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.  I was thinking of framing a small quote.  Send any of your ideas my way!

Pink rose floral arrangement
I love this floral but it is a little costly. I ordered it on a gloomy winter day in a moment of weakness.
It is definitely high quality and well made though.  My son has knocked it out of my living room window onto the hard floor at least twice without it being harmed.(I have since moved it though just in case!) You may be better off checking out what Home Goods or Marshalls has in store to save some cash.

Add some romantic twinkle lights
I plan to add some around a big mirror for dress up purposes for Miss Em one of these days..

I am in love with this wall paper, but I am not very efficient at putting it up.  In fact I'm guilty of wrecking some pretty expensive paper...  I wonder if I could DIY a similar  inspired pattern with a gold paint pen on just one wall.  My to do list is never ending lol.

Gorgeous Ikat pillow

Fleur-De-Lys Tumblers
Starting a slow collection of these. They come in multiple colors.

Happy Spring decorating!
